RailwayMedia includes my three Fotopic sites each covering a different aspect of my photography.

My main site is British Railway Pictures which contains an increasing selection of photographs covering the day to day railway scene from throughout Britain and occasionally Europe.
These are divided by class and type with the most recent being held in the New Additions section initially for around a month.

Welcome
Hello,
This site contains my railway photography with pictures taken from throughout Britain. I try to cover all aspects of the railway from freight and inter-city to local passenger services, track, stations and signalling.

All the latest additions to this gallery are added to a seperate collection for about a month, please click on 'NEW ADDITIONS' below.

Photo's since Feb 2006 have been taken on a Canon 20D with some from Feb 2008 on a Canon G9, but prior to that on a Canon 300D, and earlier several fairly poor quality Fuji digital cameras, with a small selection of scanned prints from before that.
Currently my two main lenses are a Canon 24-70 and a Canon 70-200, both f2.8, though I do occasionally also use both my Canon 50mm f1.8 and Canon 85mm f1.8.

All photo's since August 2005 have been shot in RAW and converted through Pixmantic Raw Shooters then run through Adobe Photoshop to improve the image for the web. To further improve the quality displayed the re-sizing option has been turned off and most pictures are intended to be viewed at 1024px width.
AS A RESULT ALL DIGITAL PICTURES TAKEN BETWEEN 2003 & JUNE 2005 HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY REMOVED FOR RESIZING. The best ones will be readded when time permits though this will be a very long job.
